Bento Boxes

Bento Boxes have become my newest addiction! They are so cute!

Bento boxes are Japanese and it is meant to hold your lunch. "O-bento" is what they call a packed meal. Usually the box has several little compartments for food and allows you to pack small portions of different things. Bento boxes come in a variety of sizes, shapes, wood or plastic, in one color or with characters on the top lid. There are blogs and flicker photo streams (http://www.flickr.com/photos/cuteobento/1563438362/) dedicated to bento meal presentations.

I have so far had no luck in finding any locally (Atlanta), however I did find some online for a great price! (http://www.ichibankanusa.com/)

These are some of the ones I have! SOO Cute!!!

You can buy matching bags and chopsticks.

They also have darling little sauce holders, picks, grass dividers, and tons of little decorative things to go with your Bento Lunch.
